| HISTORY of the DEVILS DICIPLES MOTORCYCLE CLUB |
| This is a compilation of the memories of several near original members;
Mesko, Preacher Man, Twilight, Fat Dog and other reliable sources of the
time.
We the Devils Diciples MC began our life in Fontana, CA in 1967. We began with 6 original brothers who designed a "wheel and trident" center patch with 6 spokes for the original members, but realized that 6 spokes will not complete a wheel, so they doubled it to 12 spokes and ended up with our center patch. Since then we have believed that we had 12 original members. Now you know the truth. A wheel cannot roll with only 6 spokes! (per Fat Dog) In 1969 the Michigan chapter began, and us picking up the "Paladins" in , Alabama ( Dog the Bounty Hunter was a member back then; but going to jail scared him off ), also West Virginia, Ontario "Windsor" Canada, Kentucky. The Nomads came in near the same time and Ohio followed in 1970. Twilight also worked on a chapter in Oklahoma but the establishment became too much to deal with and we shut it down. In 1977 The EAST met the WEST and we joined with the California brothers standardizing the patch to leather and the FTW on the right side. The Arizona chapter was started in end of the 70's. By the end of the 70's and early 80's we picked up the "Gladiators" in Indiana, started by Chino and JC with "Chino" as the President. We also had a chapter in Oregon but it was closed due to un-worthiness. Another piece of our history is an associate of ours called "Ugly Bill" who has been a part of many a good time and party; luv a bro. We have brothers (some retired) in about every State in the Union since the beginning and always will. DDFFDD
A partial page of some Original Members in Pontiac, Michigan from an "Easyriders" Article in the early 70's that was found hanging on a wall in an old Michigan house by a biker called "Flip" and sent to me recently. Thanks Flip. I am trying to identify the members and will revise as info comes in.
